Tristan Tyrrell

Tristan Tyrrell is the Programme Management Officer for Biodiversity, Climate Change and Dry & Subhumid Lands at the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD). He has been working at the international and national levels for almost 2 decades, primarily in the context of multilateral environmental agreements and their implementation, including on supporting synergistic policy and practice related to biodiversity and climate governance by enabling dialogue and the co-production of knowledge between policymakers, practitioners, Indigenous Peoples, local communities, and scientists. He has previously worked for academic and civil society agencies, and been a consultant for a range of UN agencies and national governments.
